On Day Two we had some good weather and decided to take Isaac out for a stroll. It must have been pretty boring to him, because he slept the whole time. We picked up some Kati rolls and some strong coffee and went to the park to lounge around.

Cool Summer Day In NoCal
I had a wonderful day in San Francisco, hanging out with Warren and Lindsay and baby Isaac. The weather was sunny but cool, so we had a great lunch of Indian food in Dolores Park and then spent about an hour touring some open houses in the Castro. I know Isaac wouldn't be satisfied with anything less than a Bay view.
Last night I was on graveyard shift, responsible for getting Isaac back to sleep after his 4 am feeding. It took a few tricks, and some serious patience, but he was snoozing before too long, and then I caught up on some ZZZs myself. I'll give it a run the next few nights, in hopes of getting myself acquainted to being on duty for our little one in another month.

If You're Going to San Francisco
I'm off to San Francisco this afternoon to meet my nephew and hopefully provide some relief to Warren and Lindsay. The cool San Fran summer weather should be a nice break from the 90 degree days we've been having here in New Orleans. Jody is staying behind to look after our Israeli house guest Devorah and to take care of our bun in the oven.
I expect to be waking up in the middle of the night, changing diapers, and perhaps doing some cooking. Club Med has got nothing on Club Braunig. I'll post more information later and perhaps some pictures with me and the little guy.

Dr.'s Appointment
We had another doctor's appointment today and everything is looking good. Jody is measuring 32.5 weeks which is right on. Dr. Ruhe thinks that the baby is already facing down, which is a good sign. We'll hope that he doesn't change his mind and decide to ride the rest of the way head up. Next appointment is in two weeks.

Testing This Out
We are T-minus 8 weeks and we're getting ourselves ready. I can now check off creating a blog for all news worthy baby developments. Check back regularly for more fun and excitement.
